RefAware has two optional alerting features that you can use to be notified when new references are added to your Search Profile(s) -- Email alerts and RSS feeds.
Email Alerts
Email alerts are an option feature that you can enable in the Preferences area. Depending on the frequency you select, you will receive an email notification indicating that new references have been found. A link to your search profile with the new references is provided in the email.
Reminder: Search results in RefAware are only available for 90 days. Make sure to check your email alerts frequently.

2. Select the Email Alert Frequency desired from the drop-down. Available options are Daily, Bi-Weekly, Weekly, Bi-Monthly, Monthly, Quarterly.

RSS Feed Alerts
RSS Feed alerts are automatically created for each Search Profile in your RefAware account. These feeds can be added to any RSS feed reader for viewing of your newly added references. RSS icons and links are displayed in the lower left corner of your Search Profile results and also in any Email alerts you have established. Each Search Profile has it's own RSS feed.
Feed size and time span can be established in the Preferences area. By default, RSS feeds will include up to 25 references newly added or unread references from your search profile that have been added within the last 7 days.
Feed results will display the title as a link back to the original article if the original URL is included in the reference in RefAware.
